Why Bison?

American Bison is a meat product perfect for todays health-conscious consumers. The rich, sweet flavor betrays the fact that this meat is so lean and virtually fat-free, with less calories and cholesterol than beef, chicken, pork and turkey.

Bison are a hardy animal threatened less from disease and illness. In part, what this means to consumers is a meat product derived from consistently healthier animal. The health benefits are gaining a wider appreciation as consumers learn more about the advantages of bison.

The rich, sweet flavor can more than substitute the request for beef and bison becomes a preferred choice.
